Now, I was one of those people rooting for Christina and Burke and this really annoys me. I don't understand how one comment could lose someone a job. I mean, yeah, I wouldn't be friends with the guy, blah blah blah, I would shun him privately, but someone losing their job over an offhand comment? Wow. I could understand actually harassing someone, or doing something like that, but a comment?

The big deal wasn't that he made the comments, it was that after he said the comments in front of the entire, he denied saying them on public television, I think at the Emmy's. that's what got the cast and writers mad at him. He thought he was fixing it, but he made everyone mad.
I agree, it sucked, but Burke is supposedly coming back (at least as of a month ago he was still contracted to come back).
